Yeah, most are speculations but it is nice to hear what other investors are doing. There's a good chance to hit it good when you have more information about what's happening. If you think the news is a lie, then weigh everything until it makes sense to you.

I think the distinction is that the investor
is primarily motivated by the income stream
while the speculator targets capital gains.
Speculators often identify themselves as
investors because of the negative connotations
associated with speculation in Western society.
Mass media references to investors are really
about speculators, the exceptions being
purchasers of bonds, royalty trusts, etc.
