Pension fund Blacklists Walmart

The following Huffingtonpost article reports that there is a Dutch pension fund that is blacklisting Walmart from its investments. The power of the pension is now starting to be seen and felt.

Now why do this? Walmart actually under its new CEO has a major initiative to try to become more green and to improve working conditions in its factories. Strange timing.

Its Unfortunately for those of you investing in stocks like Mcdonald's and Yum brands Apple computer Wallmart that do lots of their business in china you can expect only mediocre investment returns over time. The really great returns in these type of stocks were made decades ago when they were small unknow companies unlike today.

The jury is still out on walmart. I have talked to people that work at walmart and the notion that its this place that pays minimum wage is really out of line with what I here from the employees.
