If you are a toy manufacturer in China, you should be very worried. The development of 3D printers is growing. It has manufacturing countries with low labor costs as their competitive advantage in the cross hairs. It will change wealth patterns and shift more wealth to heavy consumer countries like the USA from low consumer high manufacturing countries like China.

Multi-Timeframe Goals Are Necessary
One of the keys to success in building wealth is having multi-timeframe goals. That is to say you should start out with a long term plan (say 5 years) and work your way towards your short term goals (maybe weekly). Having this style of structure allows the individual to continue to work and tweak at the goals in the short term while keeping an eye on the long term. Some of the benefits that come with this type of structure are quantifiable, while others are not.
There are some benefits of having a structured goal orientated timeline that you cannot quantify. For example, having longer term goals keeps the focus on achieving your shorter term goals. It gives some perspective and motivation for why you are accomplishing that short term goal. And almost like a present, the accomplishment of the short term goal acts as a motivation for you to continue working towards that long term goal. Having the journey to wealth cataloged in this way gives the person a real gauge as to how the work was done. Doing this also allows for the individual to pass the experience on to others who are desirous of how to build wealth.
Reaching that long term goal of wealth is a major quantifiable result. It allows for the person to see how the hard work, and persistence paid off monetary wise. There will also be smaller amounts (growing as the wealth builds) received along the way which helps keep the hard work and persistence going. Reaching a long term level of wealth due to a particular focus or profession regularly leads to wealth building in other areas which were not open to the person before hand.

Wealth Creation by Adsense
When I created this blog, the intent was to have a space to express ideas about wealth. So far, the blog has been a great resource. I not only get to publish current ideas flowing through my head, I get to look back at previous posts to see what my mind set was on a certain topic. Also, with the help of Google Adsense, I have been able to make money doing it.
Google Adsense allows you to manage what ads end up on your site. It has an excellent account section that gives all the analytical tools you might need. If you are starting a blog, and qualify for the service, I would highly recommend using Google Adsense if possible.

Benefits Of Deep In The Money Options
Regardless of what options you are buying, the deeper in the money the better. There are a couple of reasons why this is the case. One simple reason why is that the time value attached to each option is lower for deeper in the money options. Another reason why is that it provides extra cover intrinsic value wise if the trade does not do what was planned.
Analysis of the recent trades at Trading Futures ETF Options blog has shown that one of the reasons for the sale of the option is due to its time value decay. Minimizing it by buying deeper in the money calls seems to be an appropriate action. Trades might be able to last longer and become more profitable if the time value did not decrease at such a high rate.

Paying off the big bills
Hey
Recently someone I know mentioned that they are finished paying off their car bill. This is a big step in wealth building. Now they will be able to put at least a percentage of that money towards savings or towards paying off another bill.
Congrats!

Temptation
Today there was a huge temptation to use some cash designated for another purpose to buy shares in the IPO of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. But cooler minds prevailed and the purchase did not happen.
Discipline is such an important part of investing and trading.

Happy New Year Wealth
Happy New Year!
Last year was a good one even through all the turmoil. There are a lot of opportunities for wealth this year whether they be taken in stocks, real estate, or any other investment idea.
I have helped start a call selling account which saw a few trades occur with varying results. You can see a blog on that account at www.wikicallselling.blogspot.com. This year will be focused on developing this account.
I am still seeing many real estate investment opportunities. If wealth develops in other investment areas, real estate will be on the table.
Keep saving and saving some more. The compound interest will be enjoyed.
Don't forget to give and donate time and fortune. Only then will you find true wealth.

Spreading and Creating Wealth
Hey
This past week the University of Chicago (www.uofc.edu) received a donation of 100 million dollars to be used solely for tuition over the next 15 years. The grants are to be given to students whose families make 75,000 dollars or less a year. I feel that this donation will create far more wealth than the 100 million dollars given.
This type of donation will spread wealth by giving parents a break on the task of paying tuition and allow that money to go into investments for retirement or business. It will create wealth by allowing students to go into the workforce with minimal debt. That should allow a more robust saving and investing that will in turn help the economy.
This donor has recognized that the less debt students are able to leave school with, the more financially stable they will be in the future. I hope more affluent individuals realize the overall good this type of donation will create for the economy and society. Having buildings and scholarships in your name are great, but giving others the financial freedom to pursue their dreams at this high level is truly honorable.
